Another filipina is making it big in the fashion industry as she makes an appearance in the new campaign of a popular lingerie brand and shoots for other high-end apparel companies. Janine Tugonon may have fallen short on winning the crown during the Miss Universe 2012, however, she took that as a change of career path but not really far from the glamorous life she has ventured on. The beauty queen-turned-model has been featured in several editorials and has walked on the runway for shows during the fashion week season. She has been working with notable fashion photographers, top models, and designers worldwide. Her works pushed her career far enough to establish an image and make a name in the fashion industry. Tugonon was raised in the province of Bataan where she grew up with her mother, sister and grandparents. She is currently based in the United States and is tied with MSA Models, a modeling agency where she got scouted. The 26-year-old filipina is now taking another leap in her modeling career as she becomes one of the finalists for the NU Muses search. She also attends castings and go-sees for different ads, campaigns and shows. Along with pursuing her career in modeling, Tugonon also manages to squeeze in some time to travel and collaborate with rising photographers in New York and other cities to add in her portfolio. But given all these milestones, it is inarguable that she deserves the spotlight that she has gained through her works that slayed the fashion industry.
