‘Dress is important, but make up is more important’ Most women feel sexier and prettier with make up on but are you sure what you put on your face is good and healthy? Some cosmetic can make your face lousy, dry and can make you look old. Here are some tips to a healthier beautiful face; it is better to always check mineral content of what make up you buy, always check skin tone to match and blend the make up with your face and always be simple, too many colors on your face sometimes is not beautiful.

Here are some personal make up essentials from our bloggers that can you help achieve healthier skin and beautiful make up that glow up your pretty face.

For Angelica,

For morena skin type ladies like me, simplicity is elegant. For street style and casual make up, I just use one tone/color for eyeshadow whereas it blends my color. Darker shades of brown and lighter shade of black and gray are the best. I am always in particular with eye lashes, having long lashes emphasizes my face so I always focus on eyes rather than lips.

However, lipsticks shades that can make or break your make up styles, I always use different shades of red, never of pink and bright colors. Not forgetting to mention before everything else, I use facial wash to clean up my face and put on moisturizer. Yes, make up can you beautiful but skin can make you glow.

For Patricia,

We all have piles and piles of make up more than we actually need but how do you know which products really suit you? There are lots of cosmetic brand in the market which makes you drool over and buy them even if you don't need them. You were trap by the thought that if they suit them, it will suit you too.

Make up tutorials rising on the internet today may not be suitable to everyone. The one make up guru you were following for almost a year may not be the one who could help you on how you put your make up on. Matching your makeup to your wardrobe can be very flattering when done correctly and atrocious when done wrong. Matchy-matchy styling can be a major don’t (I do not, for instance, encourage coordinating your eye shadow to your dress and pumps), but there is actually an incredibly chic way to pull it off.

Brown eye shadow matched with wing eye will never go wrong when wearing too loud colored tops and shorts. Pair it with a tan blush on, that will do the magic to your jawline and nude lipstick to perfectly have a fresh looking face.

On my daily basis, I am using nude colors on my face such as brown, peachy and tan colors. Lipstick and mascara will always be with me wherever I go. Using tan colors does compliment my skin. I do not use light colors such as pink, orange and red shade lipsticks because it does not match me. But before heading to my make up routine, I make sure that I put on my moisturizer to control the oilyness of my face. And not to mention, I'm a lippy and eyelash addict.

This look may be achieved if your make up and style compliment each other. However, the bottom line is be yourself. Loving your self does not require lots of cosmetic brand.

For Teresa,

For Teresa, makeup can make or break one's look. It doesn't matter if you're wearing the most expensive leather jacket or the best selling dress. If your makeup is not on-point, the outfit becomes less appealing. So as you take the time putting together a stylish look, never forget about the makeup.

Teresa's main focus on her signature makeup look? The brows. She likes to make them as on fleek as possible. Eyebrow products are her ride or dies. It's not possible for her to leave the house without filling those eyebrows. As for the eyes, she uses a bronzer to define them and applies a coat or two of her favorite mascara. For the cheeks, she likes to put a coral blush on to add some color on her face. Then she finishes the look with a nude lipstick. Such a simple go-to makeup but it still looks put-together.
